In the mountains, where the nine Muses resided according to ancient Greek mythology, I cultivate mountain tea (sideritis scardica) in the village of Katafygio, the birthplace of Alexis Zorba.
At an altitude of 1.350m I treat this precious product without mechanical means, by hand only. The cultivation is under control of TUV Austria.
How to enjoy Olympus Mountain Tea? Just drop one or two tea stems with flowers in 300 – 400 ml of water at about 98° C for 5 – 6 minutes with a slice of lemon or/and honey. Irresistible!
